If you have completed your application form in full and are ready to submit all the relevant documents, it is not always necessary to submit your passport application in person. You may send a representative to make the application on your behalf. If you are renewing your passport, you may send in your application by post. Go to Applying in Hong Kong page for more details. Please note that your application will not be accepted if you are not in Hong Kong on the date of application. To replace a lost or stolen or damaged passport, we expect you to make your application in person.
