Fair trade break at British Consulate-General
On Friday 8 May 2009 the British Consulate-General helped kick-start the launch of Fair Trade week in Hong Kong, by holding a Fair Trade Tea Break for staff. The Consulate and Fair Trade Hong Kong hoped the success of Fair Trade in the UK, could be replicated in Hong Kong. Fair Trade suppliers from Fair Taste and Fair-and-healthy where on hand to sell an impressive range of goods from teas, coffees and chocolates to wine.
